God's Promotion in Our Lives
If we live life totally committed to advancing the purpose of God in our community, God's promotion will be evident in our lives. I've been immersed in prayer lately, seeking the divine avenues God has for us to reach our community in such a way that people in need, hurting, and desperate in life will see the Promise of God as real for their lives.
The majority of people would believe that God is able, most would even say that He is willing; but the key to receiving His Promise is we have to obtain it by faith. He withholds no good thing to those who walk in faith. Faith is simply believing and speaking the Promise of God and living life as a vessel He can fill with this great Promise.
It is so very bothersome that there are so many who neglect so great a salvation, the Bible view of salvation through Jesus. I'm hoping for tremendous avenues and bridges to repair the breach between God and hurting people. I know most of this breach has been created by the church for generations, but we have to get good at this again, searching and seeking after those who are lost. I think we start with pregnant teenagers, alcoholics and drug addicts, and people who have just been on a track of life that has destined them to a ditch.
Pray with me, let's make the difference in our community and on this earth, that a church full of Christians can make.
