A Kingdom Impression

As I sit and think about what and how to communicate with you, I sense an awesome responsibility to you as being the church I am so privileged to lead.

It's the last week of June, a month that has made such an incredible "Kingdom" impression on many people. I've personally seen so many (like 100's) of people come to Jesus. Some are coming back to Jesus, which is the same to me as a first time dedication. Jesus referenced Himself as the door for the sheep, at the end of the day, I just want to get them through the door. All of them.

So much of the world is jacked, so many people are jaded, and here we are with such an awesome responsibility. Jesus is our hope, the hope of the world, we have to move forward in reaching this broken world with Jesus.

Some day we all go from life to life and at that time how much money we made or home runs we hit or movies we saw will not mean much. What matters is how we handled the promise, purpose, and provision of God in our lives.

Please join me this Saturday morning at 8:00am for the Guts Church Men's breakfast on the dock. The food will be good, the cost will be affordable, and the intent will help you fulfill God's purpose.
Then Sunday, Sandy and I will be at church at 9, 11, & 6. You're welcome to join me at any and all of them that you can.

In closing, seek out someone within your reach who may need a second chance with God and bring them this weekend. If you bring them to the men's breakfast we'll take care of the cost.

Sincerely,
Bill Scheer
