Our first full day is coming to an end but not before our kids rocked the lake and pool activities, not to mention riding horses, and various field games! A little afternoon rain dampened the outdoor activities but there was still plenty of arcade games, shopping, and indoor playground games to fill the time!
As expected, tonight's chapel was over the top! As mentioned earlier, the theme for camp is: Jesus is alive right now! The focus for this evening was that Jesus GIVES right now. Based on the verse John 10:10, the speaker communicated that Jesus gives a new heart with abundant life right now! Kids were encouraged to give their old hearts to Jesus and will have the opportunity to pray with their counselors in the bunk houses before "lights out".
